Posted November 07, 2019 06:04:15Today marks the 10th anniversary of the first Alaska Industrial Gear Show (AIMS) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
The show was held in Anchorage in May 2019 and attracted more than 5,000 attendees.
It was the first major trade show to include a full-time, full-year faculty at the time.
In the past decade, the show has seen the emergence of a number of innovative, high-tech manufacturing businesses, including an automated air-conditioning and heating system developed by AIMS, a small electric generator by the company, and the manufacturing of a range of consumer products, including a new type of air conditioner, a vacuum cleaner and other personal hygiene products.
The industry also has a presence in the U.S. Senate, where members from the Alaska Legislature are currently working on the Alaska Energy and Commerce bill.
In 2019, the Alaska Industrial Casters trade show took place at Fairbanks, and this year was even more exciting.
This year, there were more than 50 exhibitors from over 40 different states, with exhibitors coming from all over the country, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Canada, China, South Korea, India, Japan, Russia, China and the United Arab Emirates.
More than 5 million visitors came to Alaska from around the world to see the industry.
The industry has also seen an explosion in the number of new businesses in the industry, which includes a new class of manufacturing companies that produce, repair, refurbish, repair and refurbish industrial equipment.
AIMs has been hosting this event since 2000, and has expanded from its original goal of hosting a show for each year.
The event has attracted more participants than ever before, and is now hosted every two years in the spring.
